Pennsylvania’s Contracted Slots program aims to improve access to high-quality early childhood education and services to vulnerable populations, including infants, toddlers, and children with differing abilities. This initiative is designed to enhance access to early learning and support long-term developmental outcomes for children and families. Early Learning Resource Center (ELRC) implements Contracted Slots in the region.

I understand that to determine my child’s eligibility for Contracted Slots, I must submit a completed Pennsylvania Application for Subsidized Child Care with documentation of residency, employment, training programs, and income to the Early Learning Resource Center. The application can be submitted in the following ways:

Once the ELRC determines that my child is eligible for Contracted Slots, I will inform both the child care provider and ELRC of my intent to enroll my child in a Contracted Slot. Your site Director will provide you a link for enrollment when a spot is open for your child.

I understand that completing the Contracted Slots Interest Form and Pennsylvania Application for Subsidized Child Care does not guarantee eligibility or enrollment in Contracted Slots. Enrollment will be offered based on the availability of slots and the prioritized strategy of the provider.
